What to do if you have more than one hard drive:

If the inoperative drive is your system drive follow the steps above for a single drive.

If the drive is not your system drive:

Physically remove the drive.

Start. Click Control Panel. Click System Click Device Manager Click Disk Drives Select the inoperative drive and double click. Disable the drive.

Contact Hardware Wizard. We will remove the drive for you and scan it to see if data can be recovered. After scanning we'll give you an estimate of the cost
